Location: Tallahassee, FL

Must-have skills: experience in GIS and spatial databases, SQL Server 2008R2, 2012, Oracle 10g and above.
Requirements:
- Availability to work at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
- Experience in database administration (5+ years);
- Experience with GIS and spatial databases (5+ years);
- Experience with SQL Server 2008R2, 2012 (5+ years);
- Experience with Oracle 10g and above (5+ years);
- Experience with Azure SQL (5+ years, preferred);
- Experience with managing ArcGIS for Server (5+ years, preferred);
- Experience with the principles, practices and techniques of ESRI SDE Geodatabases;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Daily operational and database administration activities
- Plan, design, implement, support for database structures
- Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning
- Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation
- Perform SQL Code reviews
- Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff This resource may also be required to perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested
