Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Requirements:
- Availability to work 100% at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
- Experience in systems architecture and design (7+ years);
- Experience in Windows-based systems and applications;
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure and services;
- Experience with cloud security and compliance best practices;
- Experience with DevOps practice and tools, including automation, configuration management, and monitoring;
- Development experience with Linux and Windows workloads using cloud technologies with automation including Amazon CloudFormation, OpsWorks, Ansible, Chef, and Docker;
- Demonstrated experience writing software scripts using languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby;
- AWS and/or Azure certification (preferred);
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or 7 years equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Design, build and implement the Department’s Windows-based systems and applications (systems and applications) in AWS and Azure environments;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical designs and plans;
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for systems and applications;
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to systems and applications;
- Work with virtualized Windows environment using VMware vCenter;
- Provide guidance and support to development teams on best practices for designing and building cloud-based applications;
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure systems and applications meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
