Position Description:
The Marketing Project Manager will lead multiple marketing initiatives (covering print, email, and digital
media) for new market groups within a major Healthcare Payer organization.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Plan and initiate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, track schedules, and mitigate risks.
- Sequence complex initiatives from start to finish.
- Provide end to end project management support in terms of reporting, project deliverable
tracking and documentation.
- Act as a liaison across all areas to ensure effective and efficient goals, scope, progress, and completion of projects.
- Coordinate issues throughout the organization, externally, when necessary, to promote
accurately represented information.
- Provide direction and motivation to project teams in a matrixed environment.
- Drive outcomes by fostering a collaborative culture.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including management and vendors.
- Lead the execution of the project.
- Evaluate implications of existing or proposed projects, programs, processes, and policies/regulations through critical and creative thinking and recommend improvements.
- Perform mid-level advisory consulting work and provide strategic focus.
- Effectively convey the big picture and alignment with corporate goals.
- Synthesize complex topics and project statuses into executive level presentations and influences decision making.
- Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Liaise with IT and translate business needs into technology related action plans.
You’ll Bring these Qualifications:
- 5 years as a project manager or experience as a Lead managing large budgets.
- 3-5 years of marketing Project Management experience including hands-on experience in a corporate environment, ideally within a healthcare setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration,
- Project Management, or related discipline (an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification highly desired.
- Experience managing workflows for marketing initiatives.
- Experience with an enterprise project management platform (ideally Workday).
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum projects, methods, and principles as well as project planning and life cycle development.
- Expert ability to engage staff at project start-up and plans roll-off of staff at project end.
- Effective understanding of how functions integrate within the division and the strategic concept behind the corporate goals.
- Advanced ability to synthesize large complex data and analysis into clear, concise, executive level presentations that allow for rapid grasp of business problem or opportunity and understanding of feasible solutions.
- Ability to identify and shepherd strategic opportunities that have a significant impact on the organization.
- Good stakeholder management and facilitation skills, including ability to conduct high-level status meetings with executives.
- Ability to establish working relationships and influence/persuade across all levels of leadership including C-Suite.
- Strong versatility in Microsoft Office and related applications.
