RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand stakeholder needs and facilitate requirements gathering sessions
- Coordination and facilitation of meetings for business process review
- Create and maintain an accurate project schedule
- Partner with Subways SME’s to complete required project documentation in line with program standards including, but not limited to: scope and schedule, functional requirements, As-Is and To- Be process flows, project status and summary reports
- Documentation, mitigation and escalation of project risks and issues, as needed
- RISKS (required by MTA Risk Management):
- Describe the type of work consultant: Desk work only
- Whether any work will be performed within 50 feet of track right-of-way (yes or no) NO
- Whether the work may involve areas with environmental risks (lead, asbestos) — substantial or minimal (yes or no). NO
DELIVERABLES
For each project, the deliverables will be determined by Subways EAM Program Management at the
initiation of each project. Most deliverables will fall within the following high-level groupings:
- Project management documentation
- Technical design, configuration, and specifications documentation
- System configuration and administration
- Training development and delivery
QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience leading a large-scale EAM type project
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- In depth knowledge and experience implementing Hexagon EAM
- 2-3 years working experience with Railroad/Transit industry is preferred
- Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent inter-personal skills including the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Intermediate to advanced project management skills with proven ability to work within and independently facilitate cross-functional teams and work groups as needed
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Visio
