Must-have skills: information systems engineering or another related field, Microsoft Azure cloud systems architect with Enterprise Architecture, other cloud providers, such as AWS or GCP, supporting Middleware and Application Support: API Management, IT Service Automation, Batch job services, Development and DevOps Tools: Azure DevOps, Git repositories, Automation, Linux (Redhat and Ubuntu); Microsoft Azure certification, experience in administration of ESRI GIS software is highly desired. IT Infrastructure: Microsoft Server products, Linux (Redhat and Ubuntu).
Requirements:
- Availability to work 3 days per week on the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Architecture (2-3 years);
- Experience in systems engineering or another related field (5-8+ years);
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture (2-3 years);
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Services;
- Experience with Microsoft Server products;
- Experience with Linux (Redhat and Ubuntu);
- Experience with .Net application development in a DevOps environment (highly preferred);
- Experience in administration of ESRI GIS software (highly preferred, 2-3 years);
- Experience with other cloud providers, such as AWS or GCP (highly preferred, 2-3 years);
- Experience supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services (highly preferred, 5+ years);
- Microsoft Azure certification (highly preferred);
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or another related field (4 years of experience can substitute for education).
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment;
- Recommend and assist with the building and hosting of complex application solutions;
- Understand, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure cloud services;
- Resolve production release issues across business and technology teams, as well as broader strategic or systemic issues that are creating inefficiencies or hindering progress;
- Enhance application and system monitoring solutions to ensure the right staff get the right alerts;
- Automate processes wherever possible;
- Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, git repositories, and pipelines;
- Troubleshoot development issues brought forth by developers and other architects
- Present to your peers findings of new technologies, enterprise-wide issues, and enhancements you have made to better the mission.
