Description
This resource will work on reporting, analysis and measurements for Juvenile Justice and Child Welfare in New York State. This includes needed development of data structures and extractions that are necessary for the continued support of Local Districts of Social Services (LDSSs) and Federal Reporting. Reporting include KinGAP, permanency dashboard/Child and Family Services Reviews outcome measures, Family First, education records for foster youth, prevention services and quarterly child count estimates for finance.
Duties
- Tasks that this position will be handling during the period the position is being requested:
- Write SQL scripts to extract and analyze child welfare data
- Assist in creating, testing, and reporting on child welfare financial and education reporting
- Data extraction and programming to investigate issues associated with child welfare financial and education reporting
- Develop Framework Manager Packages
- Modify and maintain COGNOS models
- Write and maintain COGNOS reports
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience (8+ Years)
- Creates computer software. May specialize in one area of computer software or may write code for many kinds of software.
Requirements
- This is an 100% Onsite
- 84 Months of Experience in creating reports -both pre-defined and ad-hoc reporting.
- 84 Months of Experience in Creating and modifying Framework Manager models.
- 84 Months of Experience in Creating and modifying reports using COGNOS tools.
- 84 Months of Experience in using SQL for analysis and reporting.
- 72 Months Experience in social service related reporting.
- Bachelor’s Degree
