- The Salesforce Business Systems Analyst works closely with Sales,Legal & Finance business functions, along with other partner groups, to analyze and translate simple-to-complex business problems and needs into solutions, ensure requirements are understood and detailed, ensure agreements and alignments are made with business and stakeholder partners, and interact with internal and external technical resources, such as, developers, architect’s, peer business analyst, scrum master’s, and project/program managers to ensure the delivery of key business and technical capabilities.
- Partner with stakeholders to craft requirements and ensure alignment with business/technology strategy and planned initiatives.
- Drive the planning, prioritization, design, development and deployment of new projects & system improvements.
- Evaluate and address multi-functional and cross-system dependencies.
- Responsible for understanding business requirements, crafting user stories, and partnering with the Development team to deliver a solution and a plan.
- Understand and perform Agile sprints, standard methodologies, tool entry (Jira or similar), and execution.
- Use business knowledge and expertise to find opportunities for process improvements; serve as a trusted technology advisor for business users.
- Participate in the change management and launch support processes.
- Maintain a high-level familiarity with other IT system / business application capabilities and scope definition in order to make recommendations re: upstream/downstream integration or functionality intersection points.
- 5+ years of IT experience
- 5+ years experience with Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud)
- Experience supporting multiple integrated systems in an Enterprise technology environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different levels within the organization as well as collaborate with cross-functional business partners and technical teams
- Attention to detail with the ability to analyze and solve complex problems as well as provide documentation, guidance and instruction to users
- Ability to work independently, with general direction and guidance
- Self-motivated, flexible, team player with solid multi-tasking, time management & organization expertise with the ability to manage multiple and often changing priorities
- Conga/Apttus CLM experience is a preferred but not required
- Knowledge & hands on X-author experience preferred but not required
